José Sacavém began his career in 1989 as a journalist for Rádio
Renascença and later in RTP (public television).

Specialized in Digital Storytelling after an advanced course in United States with support from the Luso-American Foundation.
He now works in the implementation of this innovative methodology with numerous applications and carried out a series of workshops and lectures since 2008 to several entities and organizations such as PT Foundation and the Foundation for Technology Disclosure Information.

It was also the organizer of the International Conference on Digital Storytelling, held in June 2009 in Óbidos, with the support of FLAD, the National Technological Plan and the ÓbidosTechnological Park.
